mural #5

are we in sunny florida yet? well, it seems like we are today, not exactly the temperature but the the day is sunny and pleasantly warm (+10 celcius hahaha!). and if you can believe it, the patios are even open! that means everyone's up and about at the danforth and it's quite difficult to take photos of anything without getting someone's head or back in the frame. so i got lucky with this one shot, the mural depicting a seaside villa in the tropics, in muted hues of blue and gray.

i dream of lazy days by the sea, in a hammock tied between two coconut trees with a gentle breeze caressing the leaves, and the gentle sound of the waves lulling me to a nap. i just hope that no darn coconut doesn't fall on my head again. :-)
I love the murals and how you capture just enough of the non-mural. Must be amazing to walk around your city.

@jannkc - thank you, jann. this strip of restaurants and shops, which used to be toronto's greektown (it still is, but other non-greek restaurants are now competing for business, but the ambience is still the same), is a very interesting place to explore.
