@pamfromcalgary@cscecil - thank you, ladies. so glad you like it. this one is really difficult to portray as i do not understand how violet can match pride. i drew blank the whole day today and was even reluctant to post this. i didn't feel it had enough oooomph!
@danig - thanks, DG. "lust" tomorrow (or later on). thinking of stopping any good looking man on the streets tomorrow and ask them to pose naked for me, to match your sin-ging boys photo. hahahaha. NOT!
i love the processing and the quote. the flowers looks as though they have sugar on them, like candy. i believe you are doing a fantastic job with this very difficult challenge; so subjective. highly anticipate tomorrow's post. . .that is, if you have not been arrested.
lovely processing @summerfield; I quite like this definition of pride from Kahlil Gibran: "Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need."
@patticake - thanks, patti. picnik does some wonders sometimes.
you know, it was a toss up between that and the spinoza quote because i like kahlil gibran and i am more familiar with quotes. but in today's world, i find more and more people are taking or wanting more as they think they deserve more. and that goes with the "belief in one's self", which is the negative meaning of pride.
