partner owns this antique vase and is on display in our china cabinet: black lotus flowers with gold leaves and stems against a very orange background. i say it's perfect for a last minute pick for photo of the day.
fine snow is falling on toronto right now, the grass outside my window is sparkling with the white stuff. it's supposed to be minus15C or thereabouts (that's about 5F to you my friends south of the border) on the weekend but that wouldn't stop me from going around and taking picture of icicles, i reckon. yay!
