partner was in the mood tonight...to drive me to take a long exposure. i said i wanted a scenery with water but that would mean we would have to take the ferry to the islands and we didn't want to do that. so back to that bridge over the canal with a view of downtown toronto, blocked by that ugly structure right smack in the middle. anyway, the water was nice and i captured a halo-like light reflection on the low clouds that had been hanging over the city for most of the day and tonight. the other good shot, which is the other side of the bridge i was on, will be posted tomorrow.
but wait, there was a group of ducks on the water. and a plane is about to land at the airport (the thin strip on the left). i swear they were there! interesting!
i really need to wear my glasses at night. i thought i had a lot of good shots - good on camera but when i uploaded it they were rubbish.
Great cityscape, I don't live near to a big city (well, London is 30 odd miles away) to get this kind of view, so I'm very envious! And I sympathise about the glasses thing, they are a real pain!
lol as I was looking at this I was thinking, "well, if you clone in one of the buildings on the same line as all the others, no one would know there was a structure in the way because it's dark!" Yes, I get a little compulsive when it comes to tidying up a shot!
