The extra push to my get pushed challenge this week was to shoot repetition in black and white, so here it is! Thanks for this challenge @salza, I have enjoyed it and now see repetition in so many things!
Cool repetition and the black and white works well. What program are you using for post processing? Did you try upping the contrast or darkening the shadows with this one? I think that one of those would enhance the texture of the wooden posts.
@salza ahhh, thanks for those thoughts. I dont use post processing, I adjusted the "vividness" setting on the camera but did not think to try changing the contrast. I will have another go next time I am out. My camera is mostly automatic but has one or two adjustments that can be made, and I am still learning where they are and how to use them!
@365anne there are some great free post processing programs available. Picasa is a nice one, Picmonkey also has some cool features although you must be online to use Picmonkey. There are others out there but those are the ones that I have used.
