Britain's most northerly cathedral was founded in 1137 by the Viking, Earl Rognvald. It is built of red and yellow sandstone, which is extremely soft and over the years has weathered badly but I think beautifully.
Wow! So beautiful, and so old! A great pov, Maxine, to capture the vaulted ceiling, the pillars, and the lovely stained glass window at the end of the aisle (leading line :) Fav!
