Junction box 1

Street artists have been commissioned by the local council to brighten up dozens of telephone junction boxes in the city. This has proven to be an effective deterrent against the usually green boxes being sprayed with unsightly illegal graffiti and tagging.

Wonderful street art 4rky... but Ganesha is bit naked without Nandi :) and yes, very good idea, better than the usual "bla bla was here" :)

Apparently so - it seems the illegal graffiti scrawl is less likely to appear where there is legit (or at least impressive) street art.

Great idea! There was a street art challenge (tag = mfpiac49) but it was a couple of years ago and repeating previous themes is ok for the collage challenge.
