The Long Man of Wilmington I

The Long Man of Wilmington is a hill figure on the steep slopes of Windover Hill near Wilmington, East Sussex. It is one of two human hill figures in England. For a long time it was thought to date from the Iron Age and it became a popular gathering spot for Neo-pagans throughout the year. But recent studies suggest the 235ft figure was cut in the 1700s.

cool shot of this, pretty sure there's been similar thinking about the Cerne Abbas giant

Love the longer view. Really shows the size.

Love the sweeping shapes of the field, nice to have three parts to the photo with the fence in the foreground and the figure in the background.

Like Shanne my first thought was Cerne Abbas. Great shot, like the view of the landscape too.
