Set high on a hill in West Sussex, Arundel Castle commands the landscape with magnificent views across the South Downs and the River Arun.
The castle was established in 1067 and was restored and remodelled in the 18th and 19th centuries after it was badly damaged during the English civil war.
It has been the home of the family of the Duke of Norfolk for over 400 years.
