Nuttall's Death Camass

I love the spindly yellow stamans and the dainty white flowers on this wildflower. It is dotting the pastures right now adding a festive mood. Much to my surprise, however, it is highly poisonous and avoided by animals. Apparently the ants find the pollen attractive, as many of these little plants hosted small ant hills at their base.
A very Lovely shot of this blossom, glad to know not to mess with them.
