There's an old, weathered blue door on the soddy down the road that I knew would have a great door knob. It didn't. Pulled up to the gas tanks to fill up, and there was this rusted pull on the old grainery. Faded red paint, old wood siding, a bit of cobbling to keep it on. I hear the echos of the past saying "Come on in."

@kleinewurstsemmel Thank you. A soddy is a house made from sod. The Western Plains of Nebraska had no trees when the settlers came so they cut squares of sod (dirt with grasses growing in it) and built their houses. the old soddy down the road was very fancy, with a second story. The roof caved in only a few years ago.
As if someone had repaired the handle, because there are two screws is new, help to clear pictures
