Say what?

The yellow-headed blackbirds have arrived, mixing in with the red-wings and lending their song to the cacophony of calls in the yard. Unlike the red-wings which will nest in the windbreaks around the house, I think these yellow-headed blackbirds are just temporary visitors on their way to their nesting area. Still, I love to see their bright colors during their short stay.
