Bucket list - checked off. Thank you Jerry @orangecrush. Your ONS always take me out of my comfort zone and push me to try new things. This was the best ... well, only .... splash out of many attempts. Thank goodness I got it as I had to take it outside to get enough light and it is in the upper 90's today. The funky background is my attempt to clean up the siding. Now that the week is over I guess it's time to move back to my macro comfort zone. Oh yes...and work harder at lensbaby practice.
@lisatown Set up took longer than taking the picture! I have a two-step library step stool that has a wide frame. Tried taping the glass on that, but got a 90 degree angle. I read 45 degree angle is preferred, so that was what I was aiming for. Grabbed some of granddaughter's playdough and stuffed it under the base until I got the angle I wanted and taped it down (duct tape). I like using floral clay to anchor or tilt things, but the playdough was closer to hand today.
