There is a golden eagle in our neighborhood. It is, however, extremely elusive. Youngest son spotted it frequenting a pasture today, so I went in search of it this evening on my way home from picking youngest up at the airport for her spring break. Sure enough, there it was, and, sure enough, off it went, always out of range of my lens. Coming past a windbreak, though, I saw this rabbit, frozen like a statute and intent on not being noticed. So, on the first day of spring, a rabbit.
