Look who was sitting high in the tree right along the side of the road...a bald eagle! Close enough to photograph!! There were a couple of ravens there too, which attracted my eye at first as they were in the air keeping an eye on this much larger bird. Then, as we went past we saw the eagle. Yay!!! This has been on my bucket list for a couple of years now. I often see them, just not close enough to photograph. I liked the interaction of the birds here ... the eagle was keeping his eye on the raven, but the raven was quite unconcerned.
I think I prefer this shot to your other one because it has the raven in it. There is just so much more to see - your other shot is good with great details but this one has more to see. I especially like the diagonal created from the branches and the way they frame the birds.
