When I walked tonight I took only my macro lens, intent on finding spring growth in sunset light. Then I saw this little bird flitting from tree to tree. It never stayed put long, and I had no chance to get closer. My first image showed it was a migratory warbler, so I doggedly pursued it back and forth in the windbreak trying to get closer. I didn't, and this is severely cropped. I had hoped I could go back with my zoom lens and do better, but the little bugger was gone the next day. I wanted to document that it had come through, though, so here it is, shot with my macro lens.
