I was trying to just write the word "love" the other night- in backwards reverse in-total-darkness mid-air writing, and I kept writing the "e" in normal! So I am WAY impressed with you writing all this!! Great Job!
Oh, Jenn, you're the absolute queen of backward reverse in-total-darkness mid-air writing and cleverness. I think you should mark it for the atnight theme, though -- seems perfect for it.
@robinwarner But the technical aspects are simply a dark space, a small flashlight, a tripod and shutter set to "bulb." ...and practising backwards "a's" a lot! I mean why that letter is so much more difficult I don't know!
you are very talented my dear. i always here your explanations and feel like i need to buy a rosetta stone :) seriously it is like a foreign language...i have so much to learn... thanks for all your comments yesterday and favs..wow...honored...
@robinwarner LOL, I only a year or so found out what Rosetta Stone was. For years I thought is was an actual stone of some sort and why folks kept talking about it was beyond me! I know. Lame, huh?!
@f365 Heheh, app? What app?! My dslr on a tripod in a pitch black room with the shutter set to "bulb", manually controlled. Hit the shutter release, stumbled over my bed, took a small flashlight, and literally scribbled the text reverse and backwards in mid-air, turning it off and on in between letters. Then blindly found my camera and closed the shutter. Pretty much SOOC with only the color added in photoshop. The sunkissed effect is simply where there was more light overlapping. I WISH there was an app for this--ha!!
nice writing I wish I can do that.
One TIP -I use to write backwards before- but I find that you can write normal as you do on paper and then in post (photoshop or lightroom ,just go to- image -image rotation and select - flip image horizontal. It works like charm.
Nice long exposure shot - very clever! I'm bummed that I'm missing out on next month's meetup here in L.A. Would love to meet you and Heather, but my husband and I bought tickets to Pageant of the Masters months ago. Hopefully you can join us down here again soon!
Love the "you can't make me!" !!
I love the sunkissed effect!
You have great handwriting!!
