I'm planning on heading out there probably the Monday before Thanksgiving. I want to try some night photos. The moon will be almost new, so there should be lots of starts out there. Campout, then come back the next day.
@webfoot Wow, what a great trip you have planned, and such great photo ops--I'm very envious! Honestly I don't remember which area Skull Rock is in, all I can tell you is I think it was near a campground (which is completely unhelpful!) It's sure to be on some handouts, though, and anyone who works at the visitor center will be able to direct you to it. SUCH an amazing place, have a great time!!

oh jenn, this came out beautifully.love the visceral texture of the rocks.....really great editing as usual. who knows, we may end up there next month eh? 9 days and the open road....whoooo-hoooo!!
