Spotted this Redtail hawk on our weekend journeys. These and the beautiful Northern Harriers (which always seemed too far away to shoot) were everywhere!
If this is the same hawk Phyllis posted, then it does look like a Red tailed, your shot of the upper wing didn't look like it had any brown, but hers does. In any event, it is a beauty and even more so with your photo skills
