After a crazy summer two years ago, we haven't had any whales in close since then. So it was a real treat when a few of them decided to hang out at a local pier for a few days! Just another quick snappy, but the rush of joy and awe to be so close to these magnificent creatures--wow!

@ira You need to visit the central coast. It’s friggin amazing when the whales come in close. Many joyful tears have been shed by me for sure!
