The weekly meeting of The Philosophers Club always begins with a time of quiet reflection. Sometimes we use a lava lamp to set the tone. Gaze into its whirling colors and the rest of the world falls away. It's good for the soul as well as the mind.
That's very nice Allison, love the way the light plays off the little pieces and like the way you can see the way the light changes as they layer over each other.
Thanks for the kind words. I also remember the oozing goo lamps (hence the name). This one was donated by my colleague's college-aged daughter. I think this generation took a good thing and made it better
