The sound of water bubbling in a fountain creates a feeling of serenity on a hot summer day. I took this picture last month in a solarium in a private home. If I were lucky enough to live here, I think I'd be feeling pretty serene!
Ooh, that's so pretty! I love the sound of trickling water, and I can almost hear it looking at this.
Re. your comment on my rainy day photo from the other day... I LOVE the smell of the pavement when it first starts raining. You're right, such a summer smell!
love the green ivy against the red bricks ... and, yes, the sound of water is so soothing! (Thant's why I have a turtle tank in my classroom! Need all the soothing I can get! LOL!)
Allison, you are so sweet!! I love the book you suggested. Of course it made me cry, but in a happy way. This is how Koko will always be in Dog Heaven: http://365project.org/veralynnds/365/2010-02-15
must be nice to have that fountain in your garden. my next door neighbor has a pond with a fountain in it and fish spitting water. my bedroom window is on that side and i can hear the water when i go to bed.
I love the sound of fountains too!!! great shot Allison. oh and thanks for making me smile :) I read your comment and it just made me want to give you a great big hug. I can assure you...I'm not THAT "great" =)
This IS BEAUTIFUL. And it is so true that the sound of trickling water is very relaxing and refreshing.
Having this beautiful fountain in your own courtyard -- well, I must remember that "Thou shalt not Covet"..........remembering this and obeying this is often hard to do.
