God & Man

I was struck by the juxtaposition of these two mighty symbols -- the church spire and the construction crane. Is it significant that the crane towers over the steeple?
In some ways it might, but it also makes me think about the Parable of the Mustard Seed and the Parable of the Lump of Leaven (Lk. 13:18-21) where each item starts out small and grows into something larger. Sometimes the crane may seem larger, but the Steeple is more pervasive. Good capture.

ahh Allison, but the church spire has been there for longer and will be there long after the crane has gone ...very profound of me ...does that say something ???

love the B/W processing
