Picking up a few things after church, John and I had just wheeled our cart up to the check out area when an announcement rang out throughout the store. A gas leak had been discovered and everyone must leave the store immediately. So abandoning our groceries, we filed out in an orderly fashion to watch the drama from the safety of the parking lot. Three fire trucks arrived and there was much standing around so we went home, leaving our paper towels and Honey Crisp apples and Paul Newman pizza behind. More excitement than we expected on a Sunday morning!
