Meet the Collegiate Cougar. Our school mascot was on her way out to greet the Lower School students as they arrived at school. She was there to build anticipation for this evening's Cougar Classic, a fun event for students and faculty alike.
The Parents Association puts a great deal of effort into the night's events. All of the money raised goes directly to the school. In recent years the PA has assisted with, or been solely responsible for, sod and irrigation for the Robins Campus, technology upgrades across campus, the new weight room, bleachers on the football field, new basketball hoops on the MS playground, the new track, contributing to the LEGO Robotics Club, and significant annual contributions to the Teacher Professional Development Endowment. While families do greatly enjoy the dinner and knock-out competition, it is the basketball game in Jacob's Gym, that make the event what it is. The participation of faculty and staff in this event is crucial to its success.
