I caught these marigolds in the school garden earlier this week. we have probably had the last sunny day for awhile as we prepare for Hurricane Sandy, which is now predicted to make landfall on Monday with high winds and lots of rain. It has been my observation that the more doom and gloom from the weathermen, the less likely the storm will materialize. I'll let you know after the storm passes just how on the mark they were.
Beautiful colors and pov!! Lovely textures, Allison. I hope that the weatherman is somewhat "off" on his prediction and that it won't be as bad as they say. Let the storm PASS! Far away from everyone.
I agree with you on the weather predictions. They're telling us it's going to be bad which means nothing will happen. But I guess it's better they over do it in that direction than say "Nothing to worry about" and have it turn for the worse. I love Marigolds because their colors are so cheery. Nice shot!
Stay safe and hope the predictions are wrong....I have so many friends in the Virginia-Maryland-New Jersey-New England corridor. Lovely photo of the marigolds.
