Dusk

I got home from the grocery store at that magical time when the sky is slipping toward darkness. I noticed this single and singular tree at the end of the street and after parking, walked as fast as I could to catch the moment before night truly descended. The bad news is I was just a little late and the pink tones had disappeared. The good news is that my foot felt pretty good even after walking super fast. John commented that it was too bad that I couldn't get the picture without the green lights but I kind of like their accent of color.
It's a lovely tree against the evening sky. The green lights set the scene in an urban area. Without them, people would think you were in the woods, far from traffic and highways. You've caught the magical moment of day slipping into night.

That time of night shows such nice soft colors. Don't forget to check out the moon and look for Venus and Saturn

Love that time of day. Sunset here was at 4:30 today.

The light changes so fast at that time of day, but the tree against the sky is beautiful--with or without the green lights.

The colors in the sky are quite pretty. I don't think the green lights are that bad, but if you didn't want them there, they are small enough to clone out quite easily. Lovely shot.

@olivetreeann my husband didn't like them but I did, so you can see who runs the photo show at my house!

@allie912 You're the one who pushes the shutter, so it's your call of course! But you could dabble with it just for fun and remove the green dots for him. I usually don't have to ask Jeff for help but every now and then I need an objective eye. However, that doesn' t mean I do what he says (o:
