Day Two by allie912

Day Two

Not particularly artistic, but I thought you might be interested in the dry wall progress of our living room. On the right you can see how all the furniture is protected behind a plastic shield. At the end of the day they took the plastic down so we had access to the room. They'll be back tomorrow to keep the project on schedule. No rest this week end!
Hope it's done quickly

Fun to see the progress. My husband does renovations with his company. It will be worth it after its all done.

Oh no, not the best time of the year for such major household repairs, and I sympathize. I remember when we had to retile our shower and also the extensive drywall work when the house was replumbed a few years ago.

Drywall dust is the worst. I remember when we built our home, the whole house was covered in dust. good thing was we were not living in it yet. you'll have it nice and clean way before the holidays.

Having married in to a family of contractors who have lots of contractor friends I am quite familiar with this process!
