Day One by allie912

Day One

No stove or sink makes mealtime problematic. Fortunately we still have a refrigerator and a microwave. I'm sure the final result will be worth the wait.
Awesome Hope the wait isn't too long

How exciting -- but definitely, in the meantime, not easy. Hang in there!

Looks like a big job! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Ouch! This brings me back to 2006 when the icemaker line broke and the kitchen got flooded. Hubby was in the hospital at the time. I think I ate out a lot :-) You will love the new look though!

I love watching projects come together. You can do anything with a microwave - but I think this means you should go out to dinner!

When we moved into the last place we lived in in NJ, we were without a stove for 3 months! We grilled a lot and used an electric skillet and crock pot as well as the microwave. And it really wasn't that bad. It looks like you will be happy with the end product though- and maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look too torn up either since the cabinets are still there. Happy remodeling!

@olivetreeann You are right. We are only having the cabinets repainted. I actually like the simple lines of the current cabinets. The kitchen is small and doesn't need a lot of grand "stuff"

@allie912 I like the lines of your cabinets too- and the knobs! (o: I inherited a rather gaudy bunch when we bought the house but thankfully they don't stand out.
