A new Virginia state law requires every school employee to be certified in First Aid and CPR every two years. Fortunately our school offers full day workshops throughout the summer to get us all up to speed. I was part of a group getting trained today. We used adult and infant dolls to practice compressions and breathing. The doll lights up with two green lights if you are using enough force in your compressions. Any body depending on me better have the rescue squad waiting in the wings.

An excellent idea and I think it should be mandatory for all business establishments and every business, school, etc. should be required to have on hand an AED as well.
