Several years ago Westminster Presbyterian Church extended an invitation to the AFREIM congregation to hold services in our building. The acronym stands for African Evangelical International Ministries, a small congregation within our denomination comprised of individuals and families who have settled in Richmond from different locations in Africa. Although we share the facilities in harmony, we rarely have a time to worship together. This Sunday morning was one of those times. It was a great celebration, with a chance to share music, ministry and even brunch after the service!
