You’ve heard of the world famous Florida amusement parks, Disneyworld and Universal Studios, but how many of you have heard of Gnomeville? It turns out it is within walking distance of Max’s new house. Finally the last day of our visit, we made the trek and it was everything I hoped it would be. First of all, there was no admission charge. Secondly, no crowds, and third, and most important, it was totally interactive.
The history of this park is lost in the mists of time, but apparently the exhibits are a fluid and constantly changing group. Hank brought several characters from home to add to the display and, somewhat like a lending library, he could choose to take one home. According to Sarah and Max, this neighborhood attraction is a good destination no matter what the season. The audience is definitely the preschool set, but I’m glad I got a chance to see it for myself.
