In our Presbyterian church the sacrament of Holy Communion is served by Elders, members of the Session ( our ruling body) This morning I noticed that all the Elders serving were women. It made a powerful statement as we also celebrate in 2020 the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote. Women’s rights are human rights.
