Last week I participated in a program called Cocktails with a Curator from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The topic was an introduction by Dr. Leo G. Mazow to an exhibit coming in 2022 called The American Guitar. It will include paintings and photographs incorporating guitars as well as actual instruments and a recording studio for groups to record their own music. The webinar ended with Dr. Mazow playing some Elvis for us on a Fender Stratocaster. 2022 seems like a long time from now but it will be fun to look forward to this multimedia program.
