I was drawn to the combination of purple and white blooms. The dead blossom put me off, but then I thought, “That’s Life!” and took the photo anyway. Then, when I looked at the picture at home, I saw the extra gift of the dandelion puff tucked in the left which I never would have captured if I had dismissed the flowers as ‘ugly.”
