This is the fourth time the landscape crew had to remove dying shrubs and replace them with new ones or whole new varieties. We couldn’t figure out if the cause was poor soil, some blight in the soil, voles or just bad karma. The soil was tested and there seemed to be nothing wrong and yet leaves would wilt and eventually the bushes would die.The bush here in the middle appeared to be on the same track to death when, somehow, it got a new lease on life, and it shook off the wilts. Hallelujah, Brothers and Sisters! It is the Day of Resurrection!
Note: I am referring to the bushes in the background, NOT the ornamental grass which nothing can kill
