A spot of color...

on a rainy day. This is a Japanese maple tree outside the library. I photographed the tree back in March http://365project.org/allie912/365/2010-03-23 when its branches were still bare. Soon the leaves will fall and the cycle will begin again.

About the Cockatoo flying off with the Lorikeet in his beak, it definitely wasn't normal behaviour. He was back the next day jumping on the backs of Cocktoos (I'm assuming it was the same one).
