Last night the weathermen (and therefore the rest of us) all got taken by surprise by a fast moving band of snow showers. When I checked outdoors before going to bed, I was really startled by the swirling snowflakes, especially how they clung to our flag. When I woke in the morning I discovered it was the best kind of snow storm: the grass and bushes were covered, but the roads and driveways were clear. ANd when I was ready to go out in the afternoon, the car windshield was snowfree. My kind of storm!
I loved the surprise snow! The snow this afternoon was weird. One minute it's completely clear and the next it's snowing like mad and then clear again. It did it again a little later and the sun was shining while it was snowing! Crazy weather.
Now, I can appreciate that kind of snow storm! YAY for you, that you didnt have to shovel of scrape off the car! This is a beautiful photo of Old Glory!
My perfect snow storm involves about 12-20 inches of snow as long as I don't have to drive in it, but I try not to say that too loudly. :D
