Because Dr. Seuss's birthday fell on a Wednesday this year, the entire 1st grade celebrated Wacky Wednesday, the title of another of his wonderfully absurd stories. Here is a wacky arrangement of a few of the crazier participants, including a teacher who wholeheartedly entered into the spirit of the day. Actually all the teachers took part, each stiving to outdo the others! I'm glad I was just the photographer!
Thank goodness I no longer teach 1st grade...dressing up isn't *my* thing but I must admit that I enjoy seeing the little ones having fun dressing up...but like you, I'd rather be an observer.
