"How much is that doggie in the window?" by allie912

"How much is that doggie in the window?"

What a treat to walk to the beach early this morning. Along the way I happened to look up to the second story of a house and saw this old soul keeping tabs on the passing parade. He never even raised his head as I approached to take his picture. I got the feeling he had seen it all and done it all and nothing surprised him.
BTW, the caption for this photo is the title of a popular song from the 1950's by Patti Page. You can listen to the original here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AkLE4X-bbU
he hasn't a care in the world, does he.
what a great picture

Aww, he's so cute! He looks like he wishes he could be out with all the passers-by, instead of stuck in the house.

He looks quite content with his view.

What a cute picture! I also remember that song because I had an dog that had a musical box in it that played this song. My parents told me the words to it so that I understood what the song meant.

Thank you SO much for the treat of the song. I loved that song so much when I was a little girl. What a sweet dog. They are so precious when their muzzles turn gray. Faved.

Poor fellow- I can hear him sounding like Eyeore- "Oh bother, no one in this house will take me out. No one passing by will take me out. My life is so boring. I guess it is what it is. Well, at least this lady wants my picture..." Great capture- he's precious!

Alli, you should have knocked on the door and said " your dog wants to walk with me", Look at that pleading face. Great capture
