This is the entrance to James Madison's walled garden. I experimented with a number of different frames but finally realized that any frame by its very nature constricts the view, and the wonder of this garden was the sense of gazing all the way to the far distant mountains.

Very beautiful. Love the pathway straight down the middle framed by the green hedges (but I'm sure Mr. Madison planned it that way!). If I was to frame it, I would use a border frame, but lower the width. When I use the Picnik frames, I'll go down to somewhere between 5 and 10. The frame finishes off the picture (like you'd use one if you were going to hang it on the wall) but because it's smaller, it doesn't detract from the picture. Sometimes I will change the inner color as well, so that it blends into the picture. But for this one, I'd probably leave it white, or use an off-white that matches the path. That's my humble opinion for what it's worth. (o:
