Mutant Peony

From the profusion of flower photos I took today, this one caught my husband's eye. A pure white bloom with an edging of red on just one petal. I wonder what Gregor Mendel would have said about this.
I don't know what Mendel would say but I love it! Great shot

That's so neat! How unique! I saw a tulip earlier this year that was all white except for one pink petal.
