A Personal Vision by allie912

A Personal Vision

These pictures were part of the school Art Walk and are on exhibit in the Lower School. They are from a class in the Upper School called Darkroom Photography Two, and they are all the work of a single student. The accompanying text states, "The final goal is to produce a body of photographs that showcase their own personal vision. They are no longer just shooting random images, but must capture a group of images that hold together as a group…they should provide a unified body of work." The description goes on to say, "We leave it up to you to judge the level of growth they have achieved and the success they have reached."
I don't know about you, but I was impressed.
Anytime I hear about young people doing something positive like this , I love it. In my job, I see all the negative things they do. Great pictures and story, thanks for sharing this with us

I think it is great that they actually must think about what they want to capture. A good way to generate some creativity
