All my outdoor plans were discarded when the rain continued for a fourth straight day. I had hopes of going to the Richmond Folk Festival, which was held this weekend rain or shine, but I'm afraid I'm a fair weather friend so I ran errands and finished an inspiring book: "The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics" by Daniel James Brown.
Rain can really dampen one's spirit...I do not like being out in the rain either, especially at events like that. It just takes so much pleasure out of it
