Morning Ice

After a night of steady rain, it was above freezing when I woke this morning, so I was surprised to see icicles hanging from this holly bush at school. The rain has continued all day and probably tomorrow too. As I think of all those travelers setting out for Thanksgiving destinations, I just hope the temperature doesn't dip below freezing.

So the cold found its way down South as well. Thank goodness it warmed up this afternoon, and all this precipitation stayed liquid

Brrrr. We don't get much freezing weather around here, but if we do we're more likely to get this than snow. Not a lot of fun.
