For a number of years our church has been sponsoring a Christmas festival from 5 to 7 PM, the day of the Christmas pageant. It is our gift to the neighborhood with chowder, hot chocolate, cookies, a live nativity, crafts for the kids, music by the band, and not to be missed, a petting zoo including goats, sheep, donkeys and an alpaca. The weather was perfect, and the festival was indeed festive.
It looks like a wonderful outreach to your community. We have a live Nativity too- right after the town tree lighting but I missed it this year as I was at a baby shower in south Jersey. Love the little children as angels!
Great collage! What a fun time for the church and community. There was a church close by that had a live nativity too with crafts for the kids, hot chocolate, etc. Neat to hear of others doing similar things.
