Yesterday I gleefully posted healthy green shoots sprouting in the school garden. This morning we woke to a surprise snow storm. Although it required extra time to scrape the windshield, the roads weren't too bad, and by 9 AM all snow had ceased. By dismissal time, the blanket of snow was only a memory. I'm so glad I stopped on my way into the library to take these pictures. Everything was so clean and quiet as the flakes swirled through the air.
