Blooming Right on Time

Don't you love when Christmas Cactus bloom at Christmas? Well here, despite the cold and delayed appearance of Spring, is a plant called a Lenten Rose, and it's blooming right on schedule. I found this in the school garden and was grateful for the identifying sign.

Blooming outside? Amazing. Richmond is what -- about 250 miles south of me? We have nothing like this except in green houses.
