The stink bugs are hatching!

My friend Robyn again, this time with a clutch of eggs she found while pruning the bushes. You can see one of the cases is already empty, and the little dark spot is another one getting ready to come out. And if you wonder about the name of this insect, here is how Wikipedia described it:
"The stink bug, is an insect in the family Pentatomidae, and it is native to China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. It was accidentally introduced into the United States, with the first specimen being collected in September 1998.The brown marmorated stink bug is considered to be an agricultural pest, and by 2010-11 had become a season-long pest in U.S. orchards." I hope Robyn does not give the babies too much TLC.
Can't say I'd be kind to them if I found them since they are not a native species. Good shot though!

Erg... I just learned that we're getting an invasion of stink bugs. This is a really interesting shot, but stink bugs aren't, of course, too wonderful :-)
