Beginning Fiddler

Maddie decided it was time to have her own unique musical instrument. Max plays guitar and mandolin, Sarah plays mando, so Maddie chose the fiddle. I got to accompany her to her second lesson. Allen is a fabulous musician and an encouraging teacher. I hope Maddie sticks with it long enough to develop a love for playing. It's hard to know in what direction an 8 year old will go, but living with 2 musicians should make the journey fun.

What sweet concentration! When she's a bit further along, a trip to NS might be in order! Fiddlers abound all over this maritime region, they're wonderfully good and a delight to watch and to listen to. Lots of mandolins & guitars as well...AND it's gorgeous up here!

@allie912 When we first came up, I was sure we'd be entirely off the grid...which may have been the case if I didn't emote as I tend to do! Now, looking back, it's astounding how many friends we've entertained up here...and several members of 365 as well!
